Online Screening Program
The 16th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival has decided to organize its online screening service through docuVoDA as an initiative focusing on short documentaries. ‘Short is Beautiful’, an online screening program that aims to discover short films and explore the short form, consists of short films from the official screenings and a special program featuring a film director. Initially, over 30 short films have been selected, including those from Korean Competition section, non-competition section, and the Heinz Emigholz exhibition. In addition, ‘Celluloid Dreams’, a collection of Nishikawa Tomonari’s work, who is renowned worldwide for his experimental documentaries, will be available exclusively through docuVoDA. Starting in 2024, DMZ Docs will expand and evolve into an Online Film Festival identity with various programs focusing on short films.
