The 16th DMZ docs co-host an exhibition of drawings by Heinz Emmigholz, in collaboration with Goyang Artist Residency Haeum. For ‘Oblique Vision’, a careful selection has been made from the 800 drawings that Emigholz has made publicly available. Rather than adhering to a chronological or narrative structure, the curation prioritizes intuitive visual contrasts between black and white images, as well as elements that elucidate the intricate relationship between the drawings and the films they inspire.
