Beginning his career as a filmmaking staff in 1995, he works as an art film house director and film producer. He produced the documentary Our President (2017). As a film producer interested in a theme of scapegoats of history, he is preparing a feature film about the Prince of the Joseon Dynasty who tried to create a new world but failed and a documentary film about the separation and meeting of young people of North and South Korea.
