A profile of an ancient city and its unique people, seen through the eyes of the most mysterious and beloved animal human have ever known, the Cat.
On the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, cats hang out with people. Cats, another owner of the city, are free to enter restaurants, bakeries, craft shops and fish stores, and people are welcomed as friends rather than chasing them or regarding as being dirty. It is an interesting scenery and one of the many attractions in Istanbul. This unique documentary looks at the city from the eye level of seven cats. People confess each other's perception of cats and share about the city and life that coexists with animals. They point out the culture that has suppressed the femininity through the cats' elegant walking and see a harmonious way for the multicultural society in the community of cats of various breeds who came from different countries. 'If you treat animals kindly, you will make people worthy.' This advice is something we should really listen to. People help cats keep their natures wandering outside instead of putting them at home and suppressing the animal's habits and sometimes learn a lot by communicating with cats. [JEONG Minah]
