This film depicts four blind people and through the way they perceive the world we get to know the stories of their loves. Blind teenager Zuzana is in search of her first love. She finds it on the internet, where she can hide her secret – the fact that she is blind. Blind Roma Miro falls in love with an almost blind white girl. The fact that his skin is a shade too dark complicates things for him quite a bit. Blind Elena desires to have a child. Her story brings us very close to the feelings of a blind woman – mother to be. We get to share her excitement, her fears but most of all her great desire to bear a child and raise it. Blind teacher Peter has a very unique imagination. He likes to listen to adventurous radio plays, where he can submerge into a fairytale world. Blind Loves depicts different forms love can take between blind people. Their loves consist of delicate details, somehow more vivid, emotional and spiritual. Main characters in this film are people who were born blind. They have been creating a world of their own full of very unique and particular images, perceptions and dreams. In the film, the director asks: where the source of their happiness is? Their world might be lacking sight but it can be richer in spirituality on the other hand. And maybe it’s them who really understand the true essence of happiness.
