Heart of an Astronaut is a short documentary by Jennifer Rainsford, inviting you on the journey of an astronaut¡¯s heart from Earth to Space. Its beat, its perils and its strength told by the astronaut¡¯s doctor, the flight surgeon Brigitte Godard. It is a romantic trip of a cardiovascular system into space.
Brigitte Godard is a doctor who studied the lives of astronauts for a long time. Godard closely monitors the heartbeats of astronauts every moment, such as heartbeats right before takeoff and heartbeats when floating in a vast university without any landmarks. After the sensation of All of Our Heartbeats Are Connected Through Exploding Stars(2022), Jennifer Rainsford once again explores the heartbeats and rhythms, focusing on the scientist. To implant the audiences with a special experience of space flight that the human heart cannot adapt well, the audiences only hear the voice of the doctor, and they start to experience zero gravity as they watch the film.
