A mask is obtained from the process of adapting to the gaze. A relationship with beings who wear the masks is regulated through others. In this relationship, language is the ability to distinguish and the dynamics create the world of symptoms. This short refers to Seminar 11 of Jacques Lacan and the literature of Paul Auster. It also combines pieces from paintings, natural creatures and minerals, and puns in narration to create a mysterious world where one is not distinguished from others. Such an attempt aims to make an “empty” space mediated by gazes of beings without language and gazes of objects without staring for granting names and producing masks.
