There was a time when Incheon wasn't all about the harbor and factories. There was a time when Inchon was called the ‘LA of Korea’. This is the story of the 1990s when heavy metal was at its peak in Korea. Directed by Jo Eunsung, who was active in an Inchon-based creative group and made  A Tale of Old Cities about the city's urban renewal, Incheon Metal City offers a rare perspective on the city. Through interviews with critics, curators, musicians, and others who remember Inchon as it was then, as well as well-researched archival footage, the director's respect and affection for the region shines through. It is an example of a local film that prolongs the history of a city and presents a new vision.
