Exquisite Corpse Trilogy is an essay film composed of three chapters. The first chapter in black tone adds narration to poems, the second chapter in colors wishes for the wheel of life and connection for relationship, and the third chapter summarizes the first and second chapters and recalls the father who passed away. The death of the father is related to the narrator’s eating disorder and motivated production. The idea of reconciliation with a hateful father is narrated in three footages, three failures, and three forms. The first-person narrator utilizes a carefully organized repertoire to create a visual poem that uses confession as an element of introspection.
