What will the life be like for the people who left their homeland and have to rebuild their lives in other countries? We could think of the peace and the happiness, looking at an eleven-year-old girl, Merna, that left her homeland Iraq and lives as a refugee in Lebanon.

Courageous and talented Merna participated in a TV audition program 'Voice Kids'. The audience was moved by her beautiful voice. Her voice delivering the message of world peace is so wailful, in such a situation that terrors happen in many places of the world. Now, many people recognize her wherever she goes.

There are more precious things than public popularity for Super star Merna. It is her normal routine: to prepare food for the family with her mother in the kitchen at home, to make video calls with her sister and nephew staying in Iraq, etc. For her it is happy to sing songs on the stage, but it is happier to play with friends.

She cannot accompany the audition colleagues who make tour in Dubai, Egypt and so on, because of her position of a refugee. She is upset but she is never discouraged! She can accept the reality of the refugee, and always expect that she could sing on the stage with her colleagues someday. Merna dreams of living peaceful with her family in the world without war. Let us hope the world will be so safe and peaceful to live together, while listening her songs with fantastic charms. [Lee Jung-eun]​
