At lunchtime, a future mother in the last month of her pregnancy makes clothes for baby, an actress practicing acting is torn between what she wants to eat and what she must eat, and a mother is too busy with the care of her three children after to know what she is eating. A woman, preparing to join a broadcasting company as a producer, is force-fed stale food, and a small restaurant owner is at a late lunch after busy lunch time to set food before customers rushed to eat, and a taxi driver is driving a car with what to eat in a hand under the conviction that time is money. Fish market merchant, sewing factory workers, a shoe repairman etc., they have lunch, bent over in their work place. A cleaning woman at the races, says that she cannot wait to share a lunch after hard work and a chief of a local Senior citizen center says to herself, "If not me, who will do it?", preparing the table for a dozen of grandfathers and grandmother.

Even though it's just a specified time and a specified situation of lunch time, there are a wide variety of landscapes of their respective lunchtime in the film. The time to have a lunch, the food set for lunch, the person that cook the food, the person to have a lunch with, stories to share at a lunch time, the taste of food and the thought of the action to eat. What these all things show us is not just a person's lunch. It is their labor, desire, body, dream and life.
