Giovanni¡¯s dream is to become the first boy to compete in the Dutch synchronized swimming championship. To realize this dream for which he has been working for four years, he has to pass the final test that will take place in four weeks. Giovanni¡¯s journey in pursuit of his dream is not an easy one. He hardly has the talent to become a synchronized swimming athlete. He struggles during practice with leg splits, memorizing moves and holding his position underwater, all the while getting barked at by his critical coach. His friends make fun of his passion for a girl¡¯s sport. He cannot even aim to become a champion as the synchronized swimming championship does not even let male athletes compete. But that does not set Giovanni back. Simply because he loves water ballet. Another attraction in this documentary is the humorous and adorable relationship between Giovanni and girlfriend Kim. Kim is a lovable girl who is wise enough to tell Giovanni to do what he wants no matter what people say and innocent enough to ask him if their love will last forever. Even after you walk out of the theater, just thinking of Giovanni and Kim will put a smile on your face. (Ji Min)
