A camera follows a young man climbing on a leafy mountain path, showing his back to audience. He seems to be familiar and experienced with the path, which is too rough and leafy not to be distinguished from the mountains. The young man, mounting the hills while recalling memories inscribed at every corner of the path, is NAM Eo-jin. He once came to Miryang to participate in a demonstration against the high-voltage cable tower project and quit school to stay there to fight with senior citizens who led the protest. The mountain path, which he steps on almost every day while carrying bottles of water on his back, is the way to sit-in-site 101. Sitin-site 101 is a “home” with warm and friendly people, food for sharing, and music, which the people there comfort each other with. Sit-in-site 101 is now bleak, with its tent having been destroyed by government authorities, but the memory of the days there will encourage young NAM Eo-jin and us to dream another vision for “living together.” (LEE Young-ju)
