Just like all the girls my age, I also wanted to cut my hair short out of rebellion when I was a teenage girl. Grown-ups would nag about my outer appearance and behavior, but the more they did, the more I felt satisfied. Unlike my father who thought I was cute no matter my hairstyle, my mom disapproved of my short hairstyle. I was sensitive to my mother¡¯s reaction because that is what mother-daughter relationships are. The video is composed of persuasive imageries that reflect the title of the film, and the documentary is enhanced by the appropriate narration that masculinity and femininity are undetermined. ¡®You are you no matter the length of your hair!¡¯ The protagonist already knows the answer. In finding her true ¡°identity,¡± it is unimportant whether her hair is short or long. Instead of worrying about people trying to guess if she is a boy or a girl, the teenage girl who beats her own drum to ¡°my style¡± is charming. (SEONG Yun-kyeong)
