Tim B. TOIDZE
Tim B. Toidze was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. Tim started his career at ¡°Contact-Film Studio¡± (Moscow) as an assistant editor back in 1992. In 1994 Tim moved to London, UK, where he studied Media at Greenhill College and worked as a researcher on a few ¡°Channel 4¡± documentaries. In 1996 Tim moved to Canada, where he continued his education at the Film & Video Department of York University. After establishing himself as an editor, researcher and production manager (numerous History Television productions), in 2003 Tim got into producing and a year later into directing. Today behind Tim¡¯s belt – over 10 documentaries and documentary series as a director, and more than 15 projects as a producer, including 20-hour docudrama series ¡°Poedinki¡± (Clashes), which aired on the biggest Russian network ¡°Channel One¡± in 2009-2012.
