Las Vegas is a city described as the fortune and glamour city. The movie begins with someone praising Las Vegas as the greatest city on Earth. Then, the scene shows a homeless living with a cat under the bridge and people who are thrown out on the street because they couldn't pay the rent. Behind the glamour of the city, people live with loneliness, anxiety and poverty. This is problem all over the world. The people in the city where the streets glitter with neon signs are socially excluded with a sense of insecurity. Their life in Las Vegas is clearly representing the feature of capitalism today. There is a boy whose father has always taught his son that dreams will come true if you desire. The boy came to Las Vegas with his dream, counting on what his father had told him. His dream is to perform at the leading casinos. He has always hoped to study music. He runs singing lessons for old people who don¡¯t hear well. He praises America with his songs in front of them and still believes that everyone has equal rights in the U.S. The film understates the other side of wealth which looks bleak. (SEOL Suan)
