The police rushes in a hotel room. The director and his colleague argue with them in a tense mood. For 20 minutes, a cop says the director is not answering his two questions and the director says he doesn’t know why he must answer them. The questions and answers in a fixed frame remind you of human rights, and it’s enough to show what the authority for watch and control is. A hidden camera catches such sights as several policemen wanders, calls, and checks his passport. Even in a state where something is about to happen, the director calmly and firmly sticks to his rights and insistence. So the police’s words and behaviors seem to have authority and lose that at the same time. This film is the director’s comments and resistance “for” democracy in the middle of a hot summer’s night.
