Synopsis
2 Ways to See Me, an omnibus documentary composed of two episodes, shows us a simple way to look back on ourselves. First, looking directly at oneself. The interviewer shows certain pictures to interviewees and asks them how they feel. One of them swears, another says ‘I can’t stand looking at it’, and one of them says nothing. Why do these familiar pictures embarrass us? Are they too familiar? Or could it be that we have never truly faced them before? Second, looking indirectly through friends. Send a text saying ‘I love you’, and wait for the replies. We receive various replies: “You’re crazy,” “Shut up,” “Yes, me too.” Some are expected, some not. It feels weird and uncomfortable to ask others what we mean to them, but exchanging these texts makes us think about relationships, and about ourselves. The strength of this documentary film, shot with a smart phone, is twofold: first, its creative approach to the theme of the self, using familiar objects, our looks in the mirror, and our friends that we meet every day. Second, bright wittiness and honesty that only highschool students can show. These are the strengths of this documentary. (KANG Seol-hwa)

Lee Hye-won is a student of Bongilcheon Highschool. She joined the film producing club because of her interest in video production, and is interested in producing ad films or music videos.

Lee Sang-bae is a student of Bongilcheon Highschool. He has been a member of the film producing club for 2 years, and is working as the chief of the club.

JANG Seung-hyun
Jang Seung-hyun is a student of Bongilcheon Highschool. He joined the film producing club with his heart filled with both curiosity and fear. His usual interest is variety comedy programs, and he hopes to work in that field in the future.
