HONG Hyung-sook
Born in 1962. Graduated from audio visual education department at Ewha Womans University. She is one of the representative Korean independent documentary filmmakers. She has been a member of Seoul Visual Collective since 1987, and directed , was invited to numerous film festivals and was awarded the Audience Award at DMZ Docs – 2009 and the Independent Film of the Year¡¯ Award by the Association of Korean Independent Film and Video.
