KIM Duk-chul
Kim Kyung-suk, a South Korean, is crossing the Tama River in the Japanese city of Kawasaki which he crossed 60 years ago as a forced labore runder the Japanese occupation. He issuing the Japanese Governmentin order to remove Korean soldiers who are enshrined at the Yasukuni Shrine. As a Japanese highschool girl in Kawasaki, TAKAGI Kumiko had been involved in cultural exchanges with students from Korea. Now as an adult, she crosses the Han River in Seoul and goes north to visit the Imjin River which still divides North and South Korea. This film follows 8 years in the lives off our individuals who are trying to open a new road between Korea and Japan.
