Due to the North Korea Repatriation Business which started in 1959, many Korean-Japanese and Japanese people moved to North Korea. This film is about one Japanese woman who followed her husband to North Korea, one old Korean-Japanese lady whos enther son to North Korea and a female North Korea defector who was born from a Korean-Japanese woman and a Japanese man. They have survived North Korea’s periodic episodes of chaos, but the pain of resettlement did not subside with time.
