I AM DOCU
Immediately after liberation, the first generation of Korean residents in Japan bought desks and chairs at their expense and founded “Joseon School” = “Our School” in an abandoned factory for future generations that will live in Japan. Due to the oppression of the Japanese right-wingers, the number of schools has reduced from 540 to 80 now. The director KIM Myeong-joon spends 3 years and 5 months with teachers and students of “Hokkaido Korean Primary, Middle and High School”, and portrays their daily life with a loving gaze.
