Ulju Mountain Film Festival (UMFF) values your personal information and abides by the laws regarding the ¡°promotion of communication network system and protection of information¡±. UMFF provides you with information on how it uses your personal information and what steps are taken to protect your personal information. UMFF will notify you through website announcements (or as a private notice) if the privacy policy is revised. This privacy policy is effective as of March 11, 2013. 

1. What personal information is collected and how they are collected
For the purpose of member registration, counseling service application, etc., UMFF collects the following information:
a. Required information: name, contact, email, gender, phone number, service history, access log, cookie, access IP information
b. Collection method: received through the website
2. Purpose of collecting personal information
UMFF uses collected personal information for the following purpose:
a. Implementation of contracts and provision of services
b. To provide contents, and allow the use of reservations site
3. How long personal information will be kept and used
In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay when the purpose of collecting and using the personal information is achieved. However, in cases where it is necessary to preserve them following relevant laws and regulations, UMFF will keep the membership information for the period set forth by relevant laws and regulations as follows:
a. Preservation items: name, contact, email, gender, phone number, service history, access log, cookie, access IP information
b. Grounds for preservation: laws regarding usage and protection of credit information
c. Preservation period: 1 year
4. Procedure for destroying personal information 
In principle, UMFF will promptly destroy the personal information once the purpose of collecting and using them has been achieved as follows:
a. Destruction procedure
- information entered by the user for membership is transferred to a separate DB after its purpose has been accomplished (or a separate filing cabinet in case of paper submissions) and will be destroyed after a certain period according to internal policy and other relevant laws and regulations (refer to ¡°How long personal information will be kept and used¡±). Personal information that has been transferred to the separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than for preservation unless required by law. 
b. Method of destruction
- Personal information printed on paper is shredded by a paper shredder or burned
- Personal information saved as electronic files is deleted using technological methods that make recovery impossible 
5. Sharing personal information
In principle, UMFF does not share your personal information with the following exceptions:
a. If users have agreed in advance
b. If they are requested by investigative agencies in accordance with legal procedures and methods, or in accordance with laws and regulations.
