For the 3rd DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival International Competition section this year, submissions have doubled in numbers with more than 430 films vying for selection. And accordingly preliminaries have resulted in a total of 13 films determined as corresponding well to the festival’s theme. These films, exploring the diverse social issues that permeate our lives, will bring the audience closer to the questions of peace and coexistence. There will be a cash award of 15 million Won (approx. $13,700) for the White Goose Award winner and 7 million Won (approx. $6,400) for the Special Jury Award winner.
