Designed to be the biggest documentary market platform in Asia, DMZ Industry introduces the DMZ Docs Pitch, a specialized platform for further investment attraction, in an attempt to discover and introduce original and competitive projects of Korea and Asia.

The newly-launched DMZ Docs Pitch aims to create a framework in which various network programs and business meetings will help Asian creative documentary projects with high potentials to be showcased to key industry players and explore their market competitiveness.

Around 20 selected Korean/Asian projects in its 30% to 70% production level are given the opportunity to join the pre-training workshop with documentary specialists at home and abroad for upgrading their own projects. Developed projects will be presented during DMZ Industry where the decision makers from all aspects of the documentary industry, ranging from commissioning editors, funders, to broadcasters. It will hopefully increase the likelihood of international co-production and business on a global level. The 8 Rough Cut projects in their post-production stage will also make their debut during the period to seek a further chance for additional funds, theater releasing and distribution.
